recently had to move to a much smaller house, so the room I was setting up as a listening room was much too small for my old stereo system. Todd provided some very helpful suggestions for replacement equipment options. He, also, demonstrated his two systems, which helped me make my decisions on equipment. My new room was small, and nearly a cube, so my best option was a very good integrated amplifier, good smaller main speakers and a pair of subwoofers. He also suggested room acoustic treatments to help tame the room’s base response.

When my new system arrived, Todd did a meticulous job of setting up my room, precisely positioning the listening chair and speakers. This included making sure the two speakers matched as far as distance from the listening position, tilt and height. He also supplied some room treatments, which we mounted. And it worked fabulously. The sound from the main speakers, right off the bat, was better than I ever achieved.

The audio hobby needs knowledgeable dealers that also provide excellent personal service. The good news is Todd’s Vibrant HiFi delivers these valuable qualities in an easy going way.

I speak from experience. Todd came to my house, brought equipment with him and spent the day letting me play with different combinations. For example, we listened to my Innuos Phoenix Net switch and compared it to a Reiki Switch/PSU. In my system the Reiki combo sounded superior to the Innuos (which sounds really good IMO). Then we used the Innuos as a slave switch and connected it to the Reiki switch combo. This was superlative. The Reieki switch combo stayed at my house and is connected to my Innuos Phoenix Net switch in a master/slave switch arrangement. I’m listening to it right now as I write this review.

We recently purchased a new home in north Waxahachie and had Todd come by to advise on the best course of action for our media room. Todd took the time to analyze the room and listened carefully to the input on what we wanted. He carefully explained potential issues we might run into and provided multiple options for each component of the design including speakers, subwoofers, wall treatment, acoustic wall panels, diffusers, room layout, etc. The options included both spectrums on the price range to fit our budget if we wanted to splurge on one area and also save costs in another.

We didn't have any idea about the vast number of options available. Todd's experience and personal knowledge with the different options helped us navigate these options and made this an enjoyable part of assembling our new home. I suffered with sub-standard sound quality in my home theater system for ~5 years until I met Todd. I was under the impression that all I needed was 7 speakers, a subwoofer, and a decent amplifier – boy was I wrong. Todd shared his in-depth knowledge of how to achieve great sound quality (half of which I still don’t understand), and aided me with choosing a great pair of subwoofers that met my budget. He came to my home on a Saturday and spent 4.5 hrs installing my new speakers and my digital signal processor.

He used some sort of software program and an instrument to measure the sound dispersion to ensure I received the best quality sound in the room. My home theater sounds 100X’s better and the bass is unbelievable! Todd even went as far as cleaning up during the install and after the install. I love my “new” home theater system and I owe it all to Todd.

Todd came over early in the morning. We listened briefly to the setup and then quickly moved on to pushing the right speaker back and away and began working on the left speaker. The starting point is bass coupling with the room and evenness at the listening position. Todd has a specific list of songs each with a purpose to assess a specific aspect of the sound.

As the day progressed, I would occasionally go downstairs to get drinks or chat with my parents, and my dad had commented around midday on how he can hear the sound getting much better even from downstairs. I had the same experience inside the room where I sat behind the main listening couch and slightly to one side, even there it was easy to hear the effects of even the smallest movement.
